Few cities in America feature inclines, and none are as historic as the Monongahela or Duquesne Incline, both of which overlook one of the world's great cityscapes.
The inclines operate approximately every 15 minutes.
Monongahela Incline
Often called the Mon Incline for short, the Monongahela Incline is the oldest continuously operating funicular railway in the U.S.
Opened on May 28, 1870, it transports more than a half a million riders each year.
