Help Us Test Schedule Information by Telephone
|In the coming weeks, Port Authority will introduce its new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. |
This system uses voice recognition technology or your touch-tone keypad to instantly access information about your next scheduled bus, T or incline 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Best of all, the system allows you to bypass other callers waiting to speak with the next available phone representative.
But before we can introduce this new technology, we need your help to test it. Port Authority will conduct a two-week pilot program beginning later this month. The goal is to have Port Authority riders evaluate the new system for accuracy and performance based on the knowledge of the routes they ride most often.
If selected, you will be provided with a few basic instructions to get you started. A brief survey will follow to help us learn more about your experience.
