PORT AUTHORITY ROUTE CHANGES START SUNDAY
Riders May Check Port Authority Website for Information
Pittsburgh, PA -- Port Authority of Allegheny County will implement a 15 percent service reduction starting tomorrow (Sunday, March 27). Twenty-nine routes will be eliminated and weekday service will be significantly reduced on 37 additional routes. Full details on the changes are available by clicking here.
Riders concerned about the transition may check Port Authority's website (portauthority.org), where any information regarding service issues will be posted starting Monday, March 28 at 6 a.m. On Monday, the Customer Service phone line (412-442-2000) will operate on its regular weekday hours, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The service reduction is required to counter a decrease in State funding this year.
