Port Authority publicly solicits and awards approximately 115 publicly advertised contracts annually. Bid documents or solicitation notices are sent out to all firms that are included on Port Authority's bidder's list. In addition to the publicly solicited contracts, Port Authority issues approximately 250 purchase orders for small parts and services that are needed to maintain its facilities.
