New service information is now available on the Port Authority web site.

Timetables for all Port Authority bus and rail routes reflecting changes to service that begin on Sunday, June 17, 2007, are now available at Port Authority’s web site, www.portauthority.org.

Click on the banner titled, “Things Are Changing”, then select “Schedules” and choose which timetable you wish to view as a pdf file.

Please be aware that all new timetables will feature a black and white cover and are now available at the Port Authority Service Center (534 Smithfield Street), all downtown subway stations and sales outlets.

In addition to the service changes taking place on June 17, Port Authority’s Customer Service Department and its Downtown Service Center will operate under new hours.

The new Customer Service hours will be Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on major holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For all other holidays, the hours of operation are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The new Downtown Service Center hours will be: Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Customers are reminded that they may also purchase their tickets and passes online (Fares & Passes->Shop->Purchase Tickets Online) or at one of Port Authority’s numerous sales outlets throughout Allegheny County.
