Pittsburgh, PA, June 16, 2009 – The Holy Trinity Park and Ride permanently will close to Port Authority of Allegheny County riders after June 30, 2009.
The church does not wish to extend its lease agreement for a park and ride on its property, located along Steubenville Pike in Robinson. The last day Port Authority riders may use the lot is June 30. The lot provides space for about 75 vehicles.
The Authority is looking for other potential park and ride locations in the area. Users of the Holy Trinity lot might consider other park and rides in the area, including University Boulevard, North Fayette Volunteer Fire Department, Thorn Run and Neville Island.
