Pittsburgh, PA – The intersection of Stanwix Street and Penn Avenue will be closed Thursday, August 21, 2008 from noon to 3 p.m. to facilitate the delivery of concrete to the tunnel boring machine’s receiving pit.
Two outbound Port Authority bus routes, 26E Robinson and 31D Bridgeville via Washington Avenue, will be detoured by the closure. Service stops will not be affected by the detour.
Motorists can utilize Sixth Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard, Fifth Avenue Extension and Liberty Avenue as alternative routes.
