Pittsburgh, PA –Port Authority is pleased to announce that a Transit Development Plan (TDP) Public Open House has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 20086 to 8 p.m. at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, located at 116 South Highland Avenue in East Liberty.
The TDP is intended to revitalize Port Authority’s bus service – to help the service better match current demand, to make it simpler, faster, more direct, and to implement innovative practices and services.
This event, like the six public open house forums held throughout Allegheny County in late June, will be an informal gathering where the public can review information, ask questions and provide feedback on their transit needs and what the study has discovered so far. There will be no formal presentation by the study team, so the public can feel free to come at any time during the Open House hours.
