Pittsburgh, PA – The Wood Street T station will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15 to accommodate rail work in the subway. Also, Gateway T Station’s ongoing closure due to North Shore Connector work continues.
There will not be shuttle bus service between the T stations this weekend. Riders may use regular bus service in Downtown for free:
- From outside Steel Plaza T Station, passengers may board for free the following routes to reach the Wood Street T Station (Sixth Avenue and Wood Street): 61A-B-C, 71A-C-D, 500, 77A-B or 81A-B-C. Boarding from Steel Plaza is across Sixth Avenue at Ross Street.
- From outside Wood Street T station, passengers may board for free the following routes to travel to within a block of the Steel Plaza T Station (Fifth Avenue and Ross Street): 61A-B-C, 71A-C-D or 77A-B. Boarding from the Wood Street station is across Wood Street along Sixth Avenue.
The T station should reopen by 2 p.m. on Sunday.
