Pittsburgh, PA – The Port Authority of Allegheny County is pleased to welcome Mavis Rainey as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
An experienced marketing and communications professional, Ms. Rainey has served as executive director of the Oakland Transportation Management Association (OTMA) for the past eight years, working to promote transportation options that help reduce congestion and pollution, enhance safety and increase community access. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Oakland Planning and Development Corporation.
Prior to joining OTMA, Ms. Rainey served as the associate director of marketing communications and public relations for the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance.
“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I am happy to welcome Mavis,” said John A. Brooks, chairman of the Board of Directors. “Her extensive background as a community advocate and transit supporter will no doubt be a vital asset to the Board.”
