To enhance service to customers, nine Port Authority express bus routes operating on the Martin Luther King, Jr. East Busway and West Busway will provide both inbound and outbound service at more busway stations beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2006.
On the East Busway, the 63A North Braddock Express, 63B Rankin Express, 68B Blackridge-Laketon Express, 68D Braddock Hills Express and 68G Swisshelm Park Express routes will begin serving East Liberty and Negley stations for both pickup and discharge inbound and outbound.
On the West Busway, the 28E Robinson-Imperial Express, 28F Forest Grove Express, 28G Oakdale Express and 33F McDonald Express routes will begin serving all stations for both pickup and discharge inbound and outbound.
Port Authority customers along the East Busway should also note that the EBX East Busway Express route will not operate after Friday, September 1. All three morning and afternoon peak period trips currently provided by the EBX will be provided by the EBA East Busway-All Stops route, resulting in a higher level of peak service for customers at East Liberty, Negley and Herron stations beginning September 5.
Also beginning September 5, the 28K Moon Express route will operate discharge only
inbound and pick up only outbound at all West Busway stations.
Port Authority customers wishing additional information should contact Port Authority Customer Service at (412) 442-2000 or the TTY number, (412) 231-7007, for the speech and hearing impaired.
