Special Service Changes for Great Race

Port Authority of Allegheny County will run special service for the 32nd annual Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009. Additionally, a number of regular routes will be detoured as runners make their way through Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Uptown and Downtown.

Chatham University Joins Port Authority's U-Pass Program

Port Authority of Allegheny County has entered into an agreement with Chatham University to allow all students, faculty and staff with valid IDs to use the transit system. The agreement was approved at Port Authority’s Board of Directors meeting on Sept. 18, 2009, and will go into effect on October 1, 2009.

Labor Day Schedule Changes

Port Authority of Allegheny County bus and light rail service will operate on holiday schedules on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, with many bus routes linking riders with Downtown T stations during the Labor Day Parade.
