T Drill Scheduled Before Friday Service Thursday, September 28, 2006 (1759 reads)
A Port Authority emergency response drill simulating a light rail vehicle fire and derailment on the Panhandle Bridge over the Monongahela River is scheduled for 2:15 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2006. The drill, conducted with the City of Pittsburgh Fire and EMS, will not affect regular service later that morning.

Rail Work to Alter T, Bus Operations Wednesday, September 27, 2006 (4061 reads)
Work associated with the replacement of worn rail in two locations near South Hills Junction will alter T operations and detour some Port Authority bus routes beginning Saturday, September 30, 2006 for approximately seven weeks.

Board Awards Train Station Contracts Tuesday, September 26, 2006 (657 reads)
The Port Authority Board of Directors today awarded two contracts for the rehabilitation of the historic Edgewood Train Station, located adjacent to the Martin Luther King, Jr. East Busway and the subject of a cooperation agreement between the Authority and the Borough of Edgewood.
