Workforce Reduction Announced

In conjunction with a 15 percent service reduction scheduled to take effect on June 17, 2007, Port Authority today announced that it will reduce budgeted positions by 374, including layoffs for 267 current employees, effective on that date or within 14 days thereafter.

Crazy Mocha Opening in Steel Plaza Station

Crazy Mocha Coffee Company, a local business, will offer commuters at Port Authority’s Steel Plaza Station complimentary coffee for three days beginning Wednesday, April 18, 2007 as it prepares to formally open its 10th Pittsburgh coffee shop on the mezzanine level of the station on Monday, April 23.
