Contract Information

North Shore Connector Tunnels

On July 13, 2006, Port Authority Board of Directors awarded the tunnel boring contract in the amount of $156.5 million to North Shore Constructors, a joint venture of California-based Obayashi Corporation and West Mifflin-based Trumbull Corporation. The group was given the notice to proceed on the contract on October 2, 2006.

Gateway Station Shell

On July 25, 2008, Port Authority Board of Directors awarded the Gateway Shell construction contract in the amount of $48.8 million to North Shore Constructors II, a joint venture of Obayashi Corporation and Trumbull Corporation. The group was given the notice to proceed on the contract on August 27, 2008.

Allegheny Station Aerial Structure

On July 25, 2008, Port Authority Board of Directors awarded the Allegheny Station Aerial Structure and related work activities contact in the amount of $39.7 million to Brayman Construction Corporation. The group was given the notice to proceed on the contract on August 19, 2008.
