Welcome!

This Web site details the route changes Port Authority of Allegheny County plans to make starting April 4th, 2010. Below you will find helpful tools and information that will help you understand whether your route is changing in April, explore details of the upcoming changes and download new route schedules. If the information here doesn't answer all of your questions, feel free to ask questions using our online form.

It's important to know that not all routes will change on April 4th. We will change routes, as developed through our Transit Development Plan, in phases through the next couple of years. Take a moment to sign up for email alerts - we'll let you know when your route is changing.

We hope you find the tools below helpful. More print information will be available in the coming weeks, including brochures that provide an overview of the route changes and hand schedules, which will begin to hit racks (Downtown first) on February 19th and will find their way throughout our system over the following month.

Find Your Route - Use the "Route Converter" tool to determine if your route is changing on April 4th. Only routes that will change starting April 4th are listed. If your route is not listed, then it is not changing until a later phase. This tool will show a route's new designation, offer a brief description and a map.

After selecting a route, click on the link to view the new route map or click on the Click to view a route description to read a description of the change.

Hover over the Help image for more instructions.

System Map - Click on the map to see how Port Authority's bus & T system will look once all changes are made in two years. Get a close-up look at how the routes you use fit into the system by clicking on any square - any routes changing on April 4th will be listed.
