When The Parkway Is Not…
Take transit as a convenient travel option and avoid traffic back-ups and detours associated with the closure of outbound segments of the Parkway East. The first of eight weekend closures resulting from PENNDOT’s I-376 Parkway East Improvement Project will begin June 8-11, 2007.
Following are some destinations within the Parkway East corridor and the corresponding transit routes that would provide service to and from those destinations. Interested folks can view the schedule, use the Trip Planner or call Customer Service at 412-442-2000 for more information:
Port Authority’s Park and Ride Lots along the Martin Luther King East Busway are frequently and conveniently served by the EBA:
- Wilkinsburg Station Park and Ride (Wallace Avenue at Pitt Street, Wilkinsburg)
- Hamnett Station Park and Ride (Pennwood Avenue, Wilkinsburg)
- Swissvale Park and Ride (Vernon Street, Swissvale)
